Challenge GivBlod wanted to create a campaign where they could thank their blood donors in connection with International Blood Donor Day. The purpose of the campaign was to retain the current blood donors.

Solution In collaboration with citrus media, the campaign "Thank You Because You Gave Blood" was developed with a view to hitting the target group – blood donors in the Capital Region. In front of the filling stations at Frederiksberg, Gentofte, Rigshospitalet and Hillerød Hospital, chalk paint was made with GivBlod's iconic logo and the text: "Thank You Because You Gave Blood". At the same time, a blood donor from each draw point was interviewed for a Facebook video, where they told a personal story about why they were blood donors. In addition, the video consisted of a longer personal story told by Ole, who received a blood transfusion several years ago after an accident. By using Facebook as a medium, we hit the target audience, who interacted with great success on the video.
