Challenge

Ballerup Municipality would like to draw attention to their many works of art around the municipality, where there are more than 130 works of art. They wanted to create a bit of noise by luring people to the artworks and making them discover the art. Passers-by can scan the QR codes, which thereby provide much more information about the specific work of art. The campaign follows on from Ballerup Municipality's many good cultural activities.

Solution

Together with citrus media, it was decided to make an asphalt foil print to be placed in the immediate vicinity of selected works of art that deserve special focus. citrusmedia was responsible for the design of the foil in collaboration with the municipality, and in line with the previous art cartoon about the campaign. In discreet places on the public works of art, you can now find a small QR code. Scan the code with the camera on your mobile phone and PLING! You are then directed directly to exciting and in-depth information about exactly the work of art you are facing.
