Magasin wanted to raise awareness about the opening of Magasin in Aalborg on 20 September 2018.

Solution

With the "Back In Town" campaign, we created, in collaboration with Magasin, solutions that focused on attention-grabbing elements in the street scene. The campaign lasted from Monday to and including Saturday in week 38 up to the opening. The campaign consisted of several creative elements – 20 lime prints on the asphalt around Aalborg with the message "Hello Aalborg - Magasin". In addition, trees were decorated with goodie bags, scarves and magazines, which passers-by could take afterwards. Around the city, various statues were decorated with hats, scarves and bags, with Magasin as the sender, which passers-by could also take with them. Additional shared event girl invitations etc. out to passers-by towards the opening day. On the opening day and the following two days, people in Aalborg could be driven to Magasin in one of the four foiled bicycle taxis if they chose to download Magasin's Goodie Card app.
